Turning on Do Not Disturb while you write
Apps can't switch Focus on by themselves, but iOS can do it every time Carriage opens:
1. Open Settings › Focus.
2. Choose Do Not Disturb, or tap + to make a Writing Focus.
3. Under Set a Schedule, tap Add Schedule › App, and choose Carriage.
4. Optional: under Focus Filters, add Carriage › Writing focus, so the page clears itself whenever that Focus is on.
Where are my pages?
In Carriage's library, and, if you keep the Markdown copy on (Settings › Your writing), in Files under iCloud Drive › Carriage, or On My iPhone › Carriage when iCloud Drive is off. You can also export every page at once from Settings.
The same page on two devices
Pages sync through iCloud. If you edit the same page on two devices before they catch up, Carriage keeps both: the other device's version is saved as its own page, marked "(other device)". Nothing is overwritten.
Getting an older version back
Hold a page in the library and choose Version History. Carriage keeps a version when you open a page and every ten minutes while you write.
Typewriter mode
There's no delete in Typewriter mode: X-OUT types an x over your last character. Struck text is left out of plain-text exports and shown as strikethrough in Markdown. Switch back to Free mode with the lever at the top of the page.
Purchases
Restore purchases from Settings › Purchases. Family Sharing is supported.
